Non-profit Association

In particular, the Association aims to enhance the civic, archaeological, and monumental heritage of the Treviso area and to enrich local museum collections. Indeed, we collaborate with the directors of Treviso’s museums on targeted initiatives, such as supporting themed exhibitions or promoting artwork donations and restoration projects aimed at enriching museum holdings. Our logo features the Porta di San Tomaso, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and sculpture. It stands as a symbol of welcome for those entering the city and serves as an iconic monument of Treviso.Since 1987, the Association has been a member of F.I.D.A.M. (Italian Federation of Friends of Museums). Every year, on the first Sunday of October, we celebrate the National Day of the Friends of Museums by organizing guided tours and various initiatives. In addition to our museum partnerships, we also collaborate with other local associations. One of the most important activities for the Friends of Museums is editorial support for publications, foremost among them the general catalogue of the Pinacoteca, alongside other volumes produced for exhibitions or on artistic and historical themes. We offer our members cultural, historical, and artistic services, including lectures, guided tours of art sites, exhibitions, and museums.Ultimately, all our initiatives aim to raise citizens' awareness of the cultural and civic value of our historical and artistic heritage.
