The mission pursued by the Municipal Administration is to strengthen the perception of the museum as an open space within the city, fostering unity and dialogue through the involvement of the entire local community and collaboration among various entities in the area. Indeed, the initiative stems from the joint contribution and participation of numerous local and national institutions, including the Disability Manager of the Municipality of Treviso, the Provincial Disability Council (Tavolo Provinciale delle Disabilità), the Omero State Tactile Museum in Ancona, the AULSS 2 healthcare agency, and the provincial branches of the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted (UICI), the National Association of the Deaf (ENS), and ANFFAS.Furthermore, it will engage schools of all levels, public welfare institutions (IPAB), and senior centers.The new itineraries of the Bailo Museum are available online at this website:

• A tactile map of the museum with a raised floor plan welcomes visitors at the entrance, facilitating their orientation through the various sections of the museum and guiding their visit along multiple paths.
• explanatory panels and captions with enlarged text and Braille.
• Audio guides of the museum with directions for navigating the rooms.
• 3D tactile reproductions alongside the original sculptures and paintings in the exhibition rooms.
• A tactile room with three-dimensional reproductions of the works (sculptures, bas-reliefs, paintings)

Our museum welcomes guide dogs for the blind, as required by current legislation regarding the right of access for blind people accompanied by their guide dog (Law No. 37 of 1974, Law No. 376 of 1988, and Law No. 60 of 2006).

• Guides created using the Easy to Read language developed by ANFFAS
• Tablets equipped with software that uses the language of Augmentative Alternative Communication to provide functional directions for the museum visit and describe the artworks
• Each artwork is accompanied by an AAC information sheet available on-site and/or downloadable from the website

Furthermore, to promote accessibility, the AAC information sheets for the Bailo Museum exhibition rooms are accessible online, so that those using this type of support can prepare their visit with peace of mind and independently.

An app guides visitors through the museum spaces with texts, descriptive audio guides, and music specifically designed to enhance their experience of the artworks.
Designed with differentiated itineraries for different target audiences (in-depth, synthetic, simplified, blind, and Easy to Read), it allows visitors to explore five different thematic tours:
Sculpture, Animals, Fashion, Portraits, and daily life.
