Accessibility for the blind and visually impaired

● A tactile map of the museum with a raised floor plan welcomes visitors at the entrance, facilitating their orientation through the various sections of the museum and guiding their visit along multiple paths.
● explanatory panels and captions with enlarged text and Braille.
● Audio guides of the museum with directions for navigating the rooms.
● 3D tactile reproductions alongside the original sculptures and paintings in the exhibition rooms.
● A tactile room with three-dimensional reproductions of the works (sculptures, bas-reliefs, paintings)

Our museum welcomes guide dogs for the blind, as required by current legislation regarding the right of access for blind people accompanied by their guide dog (Law No. 37 of 1974, Law No. 376 of 1988, and Law No. 60 of 2006).


Physical Accessibility

● There are no architectural barriers within the museum, and all floors are accessible by elevator.
● Mobility aids available to visitors


Multimedia Content

An app guides visitors through the museum spaces with texts, descriptive audio guides, and music specifically designed to enhance their experience of the artworks.
Designed with differentiated itineraries for different target audiences (in-depth, synthetic, simplified, blind, and Easy to Read), it allows visitors to explore five different thematic tours:
Sculpture, Animals, Fashion, Portraits, and daily life.
